Tolunay Yıldız, the founder of YEO, was born in a small village in Anatolia, in a house without electricity. He grew up dreaming of light under the roof where the stove fire illuminated the ceiling at night. He went to primary school in the lightless village. She learned to read and write by candlelight. He always searched for light and found it first in his dreams. One day he told a villager, “I will bring light to this village,” to which the villager replied, “It’s impossible!” However, Tolunay Yıldız was so convinced that he would do it that he said, “I think it is possible!” This conversation made him even more enthusiastic. From a very young age, he searched for ways to bring light to the village where he was born and raised. But what did he need to do to achieve this? He learned by reading. He studied so much that he got a degree in Electrical Engineering at Yıldız Technical University, one of the most established universities in Turkey.

He researched, read and analyzed throughout his university life. He found out what is needed for energy compatible with the Earth and nature. He developed projects related to renewable energy such as wind, solar and hydroelectricity. Then one day he founded YEO Technology, which is respected in Turkey and the world. From that day on, a brand new adventure began. Because YEO Technology, under the leadership of Tolunay Yıldız, started to bring safe energy to villages and cities without light, in harmony with nature. With the light of that speech he made as a child, Tolunay Yıldız now tells everyone, “We think it is possible!” Yes, because there is nothing impossible. The world is full of energy.
